Become a Network Marketer....but Beware the Pitfalls
There comes a time in the lives of many of us when we realise we are working very hard every day to fulfil an agenda. . . . . . . that of the boss. The boss sets out his work schedules so that his targets and goals are met. Our job description defines what we have to do. We have to work within its limitations. For example, we cannot work less than the hours agreed, and we can only take holidays as stipulated. So why not consider becoming your own boss In fact, let's go and sack our boss and start our own home business. It is more exciting to have your own agenda rather than someone else's goal setting. Only a minority of us go ahead and work for themselves though many would like the opportunity. Why is this Well we could become a network marketer or start our own home business and work from home but the pitfalls, uncertainties and responsibilities hold most of us back. If we are to run a home business successfully we need to be self-disciplined. We become responsible for our own destiny goal setting. If things go wrong there is no boss to blame. To be successful we need to be self-motivated. Our goals need to be set by ourselves and planning is essential. We need targets for the short, medium and long term. Any available training should be attended and we have to develop our communication skills such as listening, speaking to others and our written and/or computer literacy. We cannot work randomly and keep stopping for coffee or to watch our favourite daytime television programmes. In general it is fair to say that we need to come out of our comfort zone and 'work smart' so that we do not try to do everything ourselves but train our teams to duplicate good practice. It is not necessary to re-invent the wheel. Consider the implications of what is required to run our business. Are there staff to pay Is there any stock to purchase What fees or outgoings are there Are special facilities or transport required Is there any rent or rates. Get the costing figured out as best as you can before you start and work out how to minimise it. Be realistic in your assessments and do not delude yourself. Cash flow problems put an end to many otherwise successful ideas. So having your own business can bring certain rewards and not just monetary ones. Your self-esteem may be raised. Your confidence can be increased. You can make new friends and enjoy working with your team. Life can become more rewarding and challenging. Very important is the feeling of independence and achievement that can be attained. However, before you contemplate starting up your own home-based business, make sure you do the research and planning first, know that your life skills and discipline can get you where you would like to be and most importantly be realistic in what can be achieved. Live your dream but not your nightmare, your old boss is waiting in the wings for you to fail and the words ''I told you so'' should not be written on your work planner.

Starting a Business - How to Safely Stretch Out of Your Comfort Zone

When you start a business, you are called upon to stretch your comfort zones quite a bit, especially if you came from a more structured environment such as a corporate job or a professional service.

A lot of entrepreneurship is about experimentation: finding your "winning formula" in business involves experimenting and testing to find the market you are meant to serve, the products or services that they want, and the marketing that does the best job at reaching them.

Any scientist will tell you that you need to have an open mind when you test, so entrepreneurs need to be willing to loosen up and be flexible.

The other day I was in a class and we were doing an exercise designed to open up our hip joints. The first thing we did was a movement that contracted the same muscles that we would stretch a moment later.

Following the principle of this yoga exercise, you'll be much more able to relax into finding your success formula if you first feel your strength. So how do you do that

Another is finding ways to have some cash flow coming in during your start-up to keep having the experience of receiving money stop procrastinating. That might mean keep the job for a while or finding contract work.

Yet another is to interact with at least one person who will remind you how competent you are when you start doubting yourself, and do it in such a way that you believe it rather than think they're just saying it because they love you.

Helping others is a surefire way of feeling better about your value to the world. That might mean being involved in community work, or just lending a hand to friends.

What does that have to do with you business Lots, because as an entrepreneur, you are your business and if you feel better, you'll do much better.

Finally, if you are considering doing business online, then you would be well-advised to learn from someone who gives you the big picture and shows you how to start making some money from the beginning from a solid business perspective rather than through a quick scheme that you don't really understand.

Step Outside Of Your Comfort Zone Heres How

There is a quote by Brian Tracy that says You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new. I believe that quote is very true.

One of the biggest causes of people feeling stuck in life is the fact that they are afraid to take action and make changes because of the fear of stepping out of their comfort zones. Stepping outside your comfort zone is a must if you are trying to grow. Whether you are trying to grow in your business or personal life, being able to step out of your comfort zone and feel a bit awkward or uncomfortable for a while as you do something new and different is key.

Take Small steps Just as some people dip their feet into the pool before jumping in, you can take small steps in life. If you are trying to break out of your comfort zone, you can start little by little comfortzonebook. By taking things slowly what you are doing is allowing your comfort zone to get wider and wider as you try new things.

Do something different Why not shake up your routine just a little bit. I promise you, the sky will not fall. Take an alternate route to work, school, the store, etc. Be sure to try new things or learn to take new challenges one step at a time. Why not sign up for a class of some sort It can be frightening at first but once that boundary is extended, your courage will grow. Many times, we are our own worst enemy when it comes to boundaries and limitations.

Begin to see risks as opportunities - The reason why your comfort zone is so comfortable is because it's the one place where you know what to expect. There are usually zero surprises in your comfort zone. I mean, why go out on a limb or take a risk at something You just may fail, right Well, what about if you gain something Each time you dont begin to see what you may call a risk as an opportunity, you might lose out on something valuable. Start seeing what you normally would consider to be a risk as a chance for positive change.

Face your Fears Head On - Facing your fears is one of the single greatest things that you can do in order to improve your life. If you know that fears are holding you back, why not ask yourself the following: What is the worst thing that could happen if this fear were to come into my zone You may find out that you are surprised at how small most of the consequences of your fears actually are and you may be equally surprised at how easily you can learn to live with the results of your biggest fears.

Our comfort zones work well to keep us safe but they also stunt our growth. They hold us back and prevent us from becoming who we could be if we stepped out of them.

Coaching at Work What coaching is and what it isnt

An aability to illustrate the similarities and differences between coaching and other people development techniques is useful when it comes to setting up coaching in your team and your organization. You could find that if your people are unclear about what coaching involves and have confused it with say mentoring or counselling, then they may not engage as fully as you'd like.

Coaching is about helping people move out of their comfort zones. By definition, we are working in our comfort zone when we are performing tasks and activities we find relatively easy and straightforward. Many would argue that there is absolutely nothing wrong with people operating in their comfort zone provided the job gets done and that not everybody is hell bent on climbing the greasy pole chasing promotion after promotion. This is true, but it is less true than it once was. In these turbulent times the nature of the work that people do will change even if they don't and we are obliged to help our teams constantly renew their skills and knowledge. All too often we handle this badly and move people too quickly from comfort zone to panic zone without recognizing the learning zone in between.

Coaching is about releasing potential. As coaches we make the assumption that people come equipped and hard-wired with all they need to succeed. The coaching principles and techniques we'll explore in depth later on are about removing the barriers to that potential coming through. Thus coaching can be thought of as more concerned with drawing out than putting in.

Most conventional training and development concentrates on teaching people things; the skills and knowledge they need to perform. Coaching follows on from this and concentrates on giving people the means to develop their knowledge and skills; to have access to them even when under pressure and to apply them in a diverse range of situations. Coaching then is more focused on helping others to learn as this is a much more enduring outcome and one which creates independence.

Done well, coaching should be motivational and enjoyable for coach and coachee alike. The coach will get their kicks from observing their people blossom and noticing the delight people feel as they grow, develop, solve and innovate within a coaching relationship. In a work situation, coaching has to be performance focused. There are targets to be reached, sales to be made, costs to be contained, clients to serve, changes to be made, policies to implement and so on. It is only because coaching has proven such an effective contributor to these ends that it has endured and not fallen away in the manner of so many fads. But coaching is also people centred; Ultimately, it is people who perform (or don't) and we must accept that people come with feelings, hopes and fears, emotions, etc. and that any approach to dealing with people that ignores this fact is doomed to fail.

stop procrastinating telling people what to do and how to do it, which is more like teaching or instructing. That's not to say that there's never a place for 'telling' in a work situation, it's just that we shouldn't call it coaching. It may well be that if someone has just joined the team or is generally inexperienced that our management style might have to involve more telling at the start. However once the people that we work with have a decent level of knowledge and skill, telling becomes counter productive because those same people will instinctively want to use their knowledge and skills as best they can and seek to exercise a little initiative and independence. Continue telling and we stifle those instincts and finish up with a frustrated team of 'yes men'. We can use coaching to help people develop their knowledge and skills in their own unique way and encourage them to develop further still.

Coaching is not about offering uninvited feedback. Many of the organizations I work with claim to have an established coaching set up but are mystified by its patchy results. Closer examination reveals that what goes on in the name of coaching in anything but. Staff are observed in action and then a manager or a so called coach - usually clutching a clipboard - takes them off to a private room and runs through a list of mistakes made or opportunities missed. This kind of clumsy feedback does more harm than good and at worst can stoke up resentment and a desire to seek revenge or 'get management back'. A coach, on the other hand, would be offering any feedback free from judgement and placing much more importance of what the staff member had noticed during the interaction in question.

As a coach you are not obliged to rescue people and have all the answers. This is an easy trap to fall into for the inexperienced coach and creates a lot of pressure. It may well be that despite a lengthy coaching conversation or a series of them, a problem remains unsolved or a coachee is no further forward. This need not mean that the coaching has 'failed' or even that the coach has done anything wrong. I stress again: coaching is not a magic panacea to cure all work place ills. Some work problems are complex, multi-part and not easily solved. Some people that you coach may have given up in spirit if not in body and put themselves beyond the reach of even the greatest coach. You can rest assured that a bit of decent coaching can't do any harm and will usually do at least some good.

Coaching is most certainly not only for poor performers, and to position it as such is a mistake. A sure way to kill off coaching in its infancy in an organization is to introduce it alongside a performance management system or disciplinary process. Alternatively, to introduce coaching by encouraging the already top performers to develop even further, sends much more positive signals and positions coaching as about moving forward; irrespective of from where you start.

As more and more people are getting aware of how important lifestyle change is in pursuit of an ideal weight, a lot of ways and means to reduce weight mushroomed in the internet. This is so because people are now desiring to be healthy, disease-free and most especially to look and feel better. First thing to consider is to lose belly fat, and how to do it needs more pain before gain.

You cannot trim off your belly fat by just taking slimming pills while you are a couch potato day in and out. There are no miracle cure pills at all. You need diet and proper exercise as well to speed up weight reduction. Eliminate the fat layers of your mid-section. Excess belly fat can be associated with the dangers of obesity or acquiring diseases like diabetes and cardio-vascular ailment.

No fat person dies old; the most they can reach is middle age. Between 40-45 years old, muscles are replaced of fats in the abdominal section. As people advance in years, the estrogen hormone (for women) and the testosterone hormone (for men) stop its production of growth hormone which regulates the flow of fats to spread within the body.

Losing fat in the abdominal section is not an easy thing to do but with strong determination, proper motivation and self-discipline you can lose belly fat faster procrastinating. When you are starting to lose weight, the first thing you will notice getting reduced is the tummy. Most of the belly fat is visceral fats and they are much easier to melt than the subcutaneous fats which lie under the skin.

Some foods that begin with letter C are regarded sinful. They are cola, candies, chips, cakes, cookies. Some would also eliminate carbs but not all carbs are sinful like foods rich in fiber. Studies revealed that whole grains (rather than refined grains) can trim your waistline. Mono Unsaturated Fatty Acids (MUFA) are good fats that can be eaten, they are nuts, seeds, chocolate, olives, soybeans, avocados, cooking oil, olive oil, canola oil, sesame oil and the likes. It is recommended to break down your three meals into six in a day. This is to enhance your metabolism and your digestion. The body is to be supplied of food as often as possible. They serve as fuel that will in turn supply us with the needed energy to keep us going. You can drink a lot of water, fruit juices and healthy drinks but not sodas and whole milk procrastinating. The bottom line is to refrain from eating fatty foods. Although they are tempting, you can eat them once in a while as a treat, but all in moderation. It is better to eat your favorite foods outside your comfort zone to keep you from over-indulging.

You can lose as much as 10%-15% of belly fat in just a short span of time through regular exercises alone. Do not rush adapting a strenuous fitness routine at once; you must train your body for endurance and resistance before you go to high-intensity level of workouts. Ab exercises can be implemented by and by with the help of health experts who will provide you the right approach and techniques. Strength training is the first approach to gain great abs, that is, if you have trimmed your belly fat already. When fat exits, the muscles are free to form in. Strength training and cardio workouts will boost your metabolism in order to lose fats and gain mass.

Deal with belly fat as seriously as you can. If you see early results, the more you will get motivated to focus on other sections of your body. comfortzone Eating a well-balanced meal with the daily recommended calories can maximize the impact of weight loss faster and better.

Why You Must Find Your Passion, Set Goals And Live Your Dream
comfortzone Some people have been so hurt by life that they have lost their passion for it. They have, in essence, lost touch with their dream.

However, we all have a dream. It is an aspect of consciousness to be creative. It is part of the nature of the human soul to aspire.

Furthermore, just as every face on the planet is unique, so too is your talent to fulfill your dream. Just as no two people write or speak in the same way, so too every talent is unique.

Those who do--soar. They are the leaders and visionaries of our world, the artist and the scientist, the scholar and the activist, the explorer and the inventor. They are the ones who appear to have a gilded life, and they turn the burden of their struggles into an enormous victory that benefits the highest good.

If we all have a dream, and we all have the raw talent to fulfill it, then why do so few of us aspire to do anything more than continue a dull existence

A comfort zone is a psychological condition created in our childhood that makes us feel in control, approved, and safe. It is a sense of well-being in the world. Whenever, we cross its invisible barriers, we feel acute discomfort, usually in the form of anxiety or depression. We instinctively rush back to feeling better again by denying the emergence of unfamiliar experiences.

Unfortunately, personal growth can only come from crossing the comfort zone and stepping into the heart of the unknown. The rules that apply to a dependent, limited child are not good rules for an independent, unlimited adult.

Fulfillment in life can only come from transcending our comfort zone and stepping into a place where we can learn anew. Our talents will not blossom unless we learn how to set goals and hone our skills, and they will not find expression unless we risk putting them out into the world stop procrastinating.

Youre going to have to do something with your life. You might as well make it big. The alternative is to cleave to the normal, the dull, and the banal, and to live a life of quiet desperation, where you never really get what you want.

With a little courage, you can conjure up your dream, and with a little effort you can learn how to slowly bring it into the world as part of your living reality. The alternativea lackluster life devoid of significanceis not even worth considering.
